The employees at Diller Telephone and Diode Communications have teamed up to do a drive to collect schools supplies to be donated to Blue Valley Community Action in Jefferson and Gage Counties. According to Jefferson County Coordinator, Ryan Bailey there is a huge need this year for all types of supplies. She did say that back packs would be very beneficial, even if they are gently used. There will be boxes at the Diode and DTC offices to drop off items. Employees have already started to bring in their donation of  items and the collection will take place until August 5, 2011. So Diode and DTC invite community members to join in this process and bring your items in to help students in our area get a great start on their school year.
